Highlights of Some Projects

Unless otherwise indicated, CruxBridge Media (CBM) used WordPress to develop the below sites:

OmniSolus – Designed to be a very fresh and clean site with lighter colors for our newly formed outbound sales and Internet marketing sister company, CBM developed the OmniSolus site with maximum upgradability in mind. The initial “lite” version of the site was turned around in less than a week, as the company was already fielding inquiries and needed a site up quickly to support its marketing efforts. Subsequent versions will include deeper content, landing pages, areas for the company’s clients and independent sales reps, marketing videos and Webinars for both groups.

BNI Rockville – A site that was an exciting one for CBM to develop, as it presented a unique challenge from a design and development standpoint. The business networking group needed a Website with a look that captured the personality of the group, yet was fairly conservative in design. CBM used a simple white design with bolder, unique typefaces (via Google Web Fonts). The site also uses bright hues combined with the darker BNI logo. Other features include randomly rotating logos from group members’ companies on the main page, a Calendar of Events, and separate pages with contact forms for each member.

Electronic Systems Services – CruxBridge Media (CBM) transferred content from a static site that was extremely limited in SEO capabilities and page updating/adding to a new site designed and developed in-house. Our WordPress-based solution solved all of ESS’s problems, especially in the SEO arena, as this company performs its own content optimization. The design of their new site was very similar to their old site—another goal of this client.

Electric Advisors – The EA site was one we fully designed from the ground-up, including content, site flow, navigation structure, SEO, link building, graphics, blog. We participated in an initial relaunch from a static, templated site to a WordPress site, and then an upgrade to an even-more robust site.

The Nub – A site for a consumer cell-phone accessory that will be formally launched in the summer of 2011. We fully designed and developed the site, and created the content, videos and social media. The first phase of the site, which is up now, was developed for an audience of attendees to a major cellular association conference and expo. CBM was able to design and launch the site in a matter of days. While the site is accepting orders now, the full retail phase of the site will begin when the product fully launches.

Stogie’d – A magazine-style publication and network of sites that was also a “proof-of-concept” for the CBM business model. Active for just six months, Stogie’d demonstrated just how quickly a niche-targeted site and brand could be successful by using social media, SEO, video programming and other forms of inbound marketing. The site quickly built its brand and influence in the cigar-hobbyist niche through a combination of quality, self-generated news/feature content; extensive social-media marketing; contest marketing and video marketing. At its height, Stogie’d was ranked in the mid 200,000s on Alexa, beating many cigar blogs that have been around for years.

Sibdu – CBM CEO Bob Woods was the chief operating officer for the company that launched this site, a social/professional network for commercial/corporate real-estate participants. Woods conceptualized the logo and colors for the site. He also wireframed the initial site flow and design, as well as all of the page templates for the internal pages. Working with a designer, Woods also was project manager for the entire design process. He also wrote all of the content, SEO’d the site, did link building, determined the nav structure, and designed/implemented a full social-media campaign for it (LinkedIn, Twitter, blog posts, video and podcasts).

Sibdu is NOT a WordPress site; it was built by a third party using a proprietary platform developed specifically for this project.

CBM also designed and developed this site.
